WEEK 20 (WOMEN): LINDSAY WERNER (Women's Basketball | Sophomore | Groton, Mass.)
Enjoying arguably the most succesful week in her two-year career with the Warriors, sophomore guard Lindsay Werner (Groton, Mass.) of the Merrimack College women's basketball program has been named the Fuddruckers Female Athlete of the Week.
Werner led Merrimack in scoring with 23.5 points per game, shooting 61% (14-23) from the field and 63% from 3-point range. On the season Werner leads Merrimack and is among the conference leaders with 52 3-pointers, shooting a team-best 39.2 percent from beyond the arc. She averages 9.5 points per game, the second highest scoring average
