NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Merrimack College men's track & field team concluded the final day of the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championships on Saturday afternoon from Southern Connecticut State University. The Warriors finished fifth out of 11 teams with 81 points, just 4.5 points behind Franklin Pierce.

Highlights
- Ryan Nesta finished third overall in the decathlon after scoring 5,892 points. He had three first-place finishes in the 100m dash, 400m dash, and 110m hurdles of the decathlon. It was his second decathlon he competed in this season and his best overall score.
- Freshman Patrick Forrest scored in the 200m (21.90) and 400m (49.01) dashes with a pair of fourth place finishes.
- The third place finish of the 4x400 relay team of Connor Murphy, Forrest, Jacob Robinson, and Eric Rosario set a school record time of 3:17.82.
- The 4x100 relay team of Forrest, Robinson, Nesta, and Rosario finished fourth in the event with a time of 42.37 seconds and scored five points for the team.
- Freshman Travis Hunt placed fifth in the shot put, with a throw of 13.87m. He scored four points towards the team score.

Merrimack will compete in Hanover, New Hampshire at Dartmouth College on May 11 and 12 at the New England Outdoor Championships.
