DURHAM, N.H. – The Merrimack College men's track & field team continued its outdoor season at the University of New Hampshire Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, posting strong performances among Division I competition highlighted by a first-place finish from senior captain Denzel Livingston (Billerica, Mass.).

How It Happened
- Livingston registered the lone event win for the Warriors on Saturday at UNH, winning the long jump in a field of 13 athletes with a 6.87m jump. The senior captain would also contribute on the track for the Warriors, posting a third-place finish in the 100m with a time of 11.60.
- Finishing close behind Livingston in the long jump and also posting one of five third-place finishes for the Warriors at the meet was sophomore Michael Cuesta (South Portland, Maine), finishing third in the long jump with a 6.60m jump. Adding a third-place finish in a field event was freshman Jake Fogarty (Methuen, Mass.), doing so in the javelin with a 53.15m throw.
- The final two third-place finishes would come on the track for Merrimack, with junior Connor Murphy (Paxton, Mass.) doing so in the 1500m, continuing his strong season with a new school record in the event. Senior John Spencer (North Haven, Conn.) posted the fifth third-place finish in the 110m hurdles at a time of 15.70.
- Rounding out other strong finishes for the Warriors were sophomore Aidan Friend (Mansfield, Mass.) with a fourth-place finish in the 200m (23.27), junior Luis Cintron (Flanders, N.Y.) finishing sixth in the 400m hurdles (1:00.61), and freshman Ryan Nesta (Milford, Mass.) finishing seventh in the 100m (11.76).
The Warriors will see athletes competing in Princeton, New Jersey at the Larry Ellis Invitational and the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT.
