freshman Chloe Rothman (Newton, Mass.) was named
Rookie of The Week by the Northeast-10 offices on Monday
Rothman finished off the week averaging 20.0 points and 8.0 assists per game against Adelphi and New Haven. Rothman scored a career-high 22 points in the Warriors loss on Tuesday night to Adelphi and also chipped in with six assists. In Saturday’s victory over New Haven Rothman recorded her first career double-double as she poured in 18 points and dished out 10 assists.
Rothman has put together a solid freshman season for the Warriors averaging 9.6 points, 4.9 assists and 3.7 rebounds per contest while starting all 12 games. Rothman is averaging the second most minutes per game this year with 32.1 and has played all 40 minutes in three contests.
The Warriors are 3-9 overall and 2-7 in the Northeast-10 so far this season and return to the court on Wednesday night as they travel to Le Moyne for a 5:30 pm contest with the Dolphins.
