Led by All-American Liz Lyons, Baker’s squad recorded 12-7 record in 2011, defeating New Haven in the quarterfinals for the second straight season. In 2010, Baker’s squad set a school record with a 10-game winning streak and a #9 national ranking, finishing the season with a 12-3 record, third in the Northeast-10. Three of Baker’s student-athletes, Mia Basile, Colleen Strachan and Jen Pino, earned All-American honors, with Strachan being named the Unsung Hero of Division II by womenslacrosse.com.

The 2010 Warriors were just as dominant in the classroom, recording the highest grade-point-average among all Northeast-10 women’s lacrosse programs, earning the first-ever NE-10 Academic Excellence Award. Senior captain Kelly Pasquantonio was named the Merrimack Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second time in three seasons.

Baker also serves as the Division II representative on the IWLCA By-Laws Committee and is a Dimension II grad, having completed the second level with the NCAA Academy in the summer of 2010.

In her first two seasons, Baker led the Warriors to consecutive fourth-place finishes in the Northeast-10.

In 2009, Merrimack recorded an 8-8 record, 7-3 in conference and reached the Northeast-10 Semifinals before falling to top-ranked New Haven 16-15. The Warriors ranked third in total offense, led by Liz Lyons, who was second in the country in draw controls.

In 2008, Merrimack led the conference in goals per game, ground balls and caused turnovers, and finished second assists, fewest turnovers and draw controls.

A 2006 graduate of Bridgewater State College, she owns the school record for draw controls in a game, season and career. She was a two-time captain and 2006 Prague Cup selection. While at BSC, Baker also was the head coach of the Bridgewater Youth Lacrosse Team from 2004-2006.

Following her season there, Baker spent one season as the Assistant Coach for Northeast-10 rival Bryant University.
