In his first season with the Warriors, freshman TJ Corliss of the Merrimack College Track and Field program had a record-setting performance this past weekend, helping him become Fuddruckers Athlete of the Week.
In the men's 3,000 meter, the Haverhill, Massachusetts, native broke into the program record, running the second fastest time in school history with an 8:45.03 final at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. The record helped him earn NE10Â Rookie of the Week for the first time in his career.Â
The Warriors are back in action this weekend for the NEw England Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.Â
