For the second time this season, junior forward Denia Davis-Stewart of the women's basketball program has been named Fuddruckers Female Athlete of the Week following three double-doubles over three games played for the Warriors.

Davis-Stewart notched performances of 19 points and 19 rebounds, 15 points and 12 boards as well as 14 points and 15 caroms to average 15.1 points and 15.1 rebounds per game, guiding the team to a win of Saint Michael's to close the regular season and a triumph over Southern Connecticut State in the opening round of the NE10 Championship. 

The third-year post player learned on Monday that she was named the NE10's Defensive Player of the Year as well as an all-conference second team selection. Davis-Stewart totaled 13 blocks over the three games for a an average of 4.3 rejections per game. She increased her league-leading block total to 107, ranking in a tie for second nationwide in total rejections.

Davis-Stewart and the Warriors await a potential at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament. The field will be announced on Sunday evening during the NCAA Selection Show.
