After leading the men's hockey team to their first win of the season, freshman goalie Troy Kobryn has been named this week's Fuddruckers Male Athlete of the Week

Stopped 34 shots on Thursday night, allowing just one goal as he backstopped Merrimack to a 3-1 win at Holy Cross. The rookie stopped all 27 shots he saw in the final 40 minutes, including 16 in the third period. On the weekend, he made 52 saves in a 1-1-0 showing.

Merrimack returens to action on Firday at against UNH.  Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. at Lawler Rink.
