Junior Alyssa Casey enjoyed a season-best performance out Saturday, notching a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds to help Merrimack triumph over UMass Lowell, 73-50. For her efforts, she's been named Fuddruckers Female Athlete of the Week for the first time this season. 

Casey set season highs in a myriad of statistics including points, field goals made, field-goal attempts, 3-point field goals, 3-point field goal attempts. total rebounds, offensive boards and defensive caroms. She shot 6-of-11 from deep including an impressive five 3-point field goals in the first quarter alone. Casey finished with shooting splits of .474/.545 on the day from both the field and from deep, respectively. 

The Warriors return to action this Sunday when Merrimack concludes non-confernece play with a 3 p.m. matchup with the University of Vermont at Hammel Court.
