After earning his second Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie of the Week honor of the year, freshman forward Jordan Minor has been named this week’s Fuddruckers Male Athlete of the Week.

Minor scored 10 points off the bench for Merrimack in the Warriors' lone game last week against Boston University. Eight of Minor's points came in the first half as he entered halftime tied for the team lead in scoring. The Kingston, Mass. native shot 4-of-7 from the field against the Terriers, posting his third double-figure scoring game of the season.

As of games completed through December 22, Minor ranked third in the NEC with 37 offensive rebounds, averaging nearly three per contest. On the year, Minor is averaging 7.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game for the Warriors. The Brimmer and May product paces the team in rejections while ranking second in boards. He has 22 more offensive caroms than his next closest teammate.

Merrimack plays its first-ever NEC game this Thursday when the Warriors visit Sacred Heart University. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Pitt Center.
