Sophomore Kate Mager of the women's basketball team has been named this week's Fuddrucker's Female Athlete of the Week after helping Merrimack to two victories over the weekend.

Mager started the week by being named College Sports Madness NEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, and followed that up with a pair of double-digit scoring performances. Mager scored 12 points while playing all 40 minutes in a victory over Long Island University, and followed that up with a 15-point effort that featured four 3-pointers in a trouncing of Fairleigh Dickinson. 

The Warriors return to action on Saturday afternoon when Merrimack hosts Wagner at Hammel Court at 1 p.m. The contest will air nationally on ESPN+.
