After his five goals and one assist lifted the Warriors past Sacred Heart, Tommy Rooney of the men’s lacrosse team has been named this week’s Dunkin’ Male Athlete of the Week.

The Syosset, N.Y. native tallied a second half hat trick to keep Merrimack in front, as it knocked off the Pioneers, 14-10, Saturday night at Duane Stadium. The six points tied a single game career-high for the junior.
