Freshman Courtney Maud (Georgetown, Ontario) of the Merrimack College women's ice hockey team has been named Fuddruckers Athlete of the Week.

Maud lifted the Warriors to a 5-3 victory over Union on Friday night, scoring her first two goals of her collegiate career. She broke the 3-3 tie with 2:17 left in the third period for the game-winner, before icing the victory with an empty-netter with 1:06 left in regulation.

Maud and the Rest of the Warriors will play a home-and-home series against Hockey East foe Northeastern this weekend, beginning in Boston on Friday afternoon. Both games are set to begin at 2 p.m.
