After posting 10 points last week, junior attack Amber Feminella of the Merrimack College women's lacrosse team has been named Fuddruckers Women's Athlete of the Week.

Feminella potted a career-high six goals at Mercy on Wednesday, which nearly propelled the Warriors to an upset of the 12th-ranked team in the country. She then added three more goals with an assist on Sunday in a win at Saint Thomas Aquinas. In total, the team's lead scorer had 10 points in all -- including nine goals -- in two games last week.

Feminella is now up to a team-leading 15 points - with 14 goals -- through three games this year, leading the NE10 in both scoring cateogires. 

Feminella and the rest of the Warriors have off before returning to action next Tuesday in their conference opener down at Stonehill, which is set for 3 p.m.
