Freshman Haley Bartlett of the Merrimack College women's lacrosse team has been named Fuddruckers Female Athlete of the Week after a 12-point output over the course of two games, helping the Warriors pick up two more huge wins in the league standings last week.
Bartlett was busy leading the Warrior offense with consecutive six-point outings. She started it off with a four-goal, two-assist outing in what was a huge win in the league standings over No. 19 Bentley on Tuesday night at home. Then, Bartlett led the charge again in an eventual 16-9 road victory over a Southern Connecticut squad that went toe-to-toe with the Warriors in the first half before Merrimack pulled away with an 8-1 scoring run in the second half.
Bartlett has been stellar all season, tallying four points or more in all but five of the 13 games she has played in. She is up to 42 goals, 11 assists and 53 points overall on the year, good for 20th overall in the conference standings.
Bartlett and the Warriors wrap up their regular season road slate with a midweek trip to Franklin Pierce next Wednesday (April 25) at 7:30 p.m. before returning home to face No. 25 Assumption this Saturday (April 28) on Senior Day at 12 p.m.
