Fraser Allan Named Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
WAKEFIELD, MA – Fraser Allan's (North
Battleford, Sask.) four-point output at the UConn Toyota
Holiday Classic has landed him the Hockey East Pure Hockey
Defensive Player of the Week.
Allan tallied a goal and an assist in each of Merrimack's
two games at the UConn Toyota Holiday Classic.
He becomes the third Warrior to win a weekly award this season
joining goaltenders Joe Cannata (Wakefield, MA) and Andrew
Braithwaite (Kingston, Ontario).
Allan now has eight points, tops among Merrimack defensemen and
fifth among all Warriors.
Merrimack hosts the U.S. Under-18 National Team on Saturday at 7
p.m.
