NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Scoring her 12th and 13th goals of the season within a span of five minutes, senior captain Gabrielle Gramprey (Brockton, MA) led the Warriors of Merrimack to their 12th win of the year, securing a home-field quarterfinal match on November 1.

Gramprey's first goal was assisted by freshman Jenn Pino (North Andover, MA) in the 66th before freshman Marissa Gambale (Swampscott, MA) fed the senior with a centering pass at the top of the box minutes later.

With her second goal, Gramprey moved into sole possession of sixth place all-time for Merrimack goal-scorers with 41 goals.

Senior captain Brittany Gustafson (East Hampton, CT) stopped two shots in her 11th win and third shut-out of the year.

Head Coach Gabe Mejail was glad to get the team's third straight win and happy for his four seniors playing in their final regular season home game (Gramprey, Jackie Vickers (Norwell, MA), Meghan McClorey (Melrose, MA) and Gustafson.

"We started out a little slow today, but we certainly put the pressure on in the second half," Mejail said.  "You always like to win at home, but today was a nice way to send the seniors out with a win."

The Warriors conclude their regular season schedule at UMass-Lowell on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00pm.

With the team's ninth conference win (12-4-2, 9-4-1 NE-10) on Saturday afternoon, the Warriors clinched a No. 4 seed and will host a quarterfinal contest on November 1.
