Men's Tennis Ends Fall at Holy Cross, Undefeated

WORCESTER, MA – Before darkness fell at Holy Cross, the Merrimack men's tennis Warriors (3-0, 2-0 NE-10) came away with a 4-2 win over the Crusaders on Thursday afternoon.

Freshman Petar Golijanin (Novi Sad, Serbia) was the top singles winner for the Warriors at No. 2 over John Burke, 6-0, 6-1. Golijanin improves to 5-2 on the year, helping Merrimack to an undefeated mark through the fall season.

In doubles play, Max Eppley (Malaga, Spain) and Tim McHugh (Edgartown, MA) squeaked out a No. 1 doubles win, 9-8.

Merrimack resumes the 2009-10 season on March 16 at home versus Saint Anselm College.
