Men's Tennis Opens '09 With Win At Le Moyne
SYRACUSE, NY – Opening the 2009-10 season on the road at
Le Moyne College, the Merrimack men's tennis Warriors (1-0)
knocked off the Dolphins by a score of 6-3.
Sophomore Sean Pahler (Rumson, NJ) led the
Warriors with a No. 2 singles victory (6-1, 2-6, 11-9) and No. 2
doubles win (9-7) alongside teammate junior Liam
Hoare (West Newbury, MA).
Freshman Peter Golijanin also posted a pair of
wins at No. 3 singles (7-5, 6-1) and No. 3 doubles (8-1) with
junior John Ravenelle (North Andover, MA).
The men's team returns to action tomorrow (Sunday) at the
Wheaton Invitational at 10:00am.
