#3 Saint Rose Too Much For Women's Soccer
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – In a conference home contest for the
Merrimack women's soccer Warriors Saturday afternoon, the
undefeated #3 College of Saint Rose scored in the first minute of
play and did not look back on their way to a 4-0 win at Warrior
Field.
Senior goalkeeper Brittany Gustafson (East
Hampton, CT) dropped her first contest of the year in a game the
Golden Knights fired 17 shots, including 12 in the first half.
The Warriors did manage 15 shots in the loss, but could not
withstand the balanced Golden Knight attack, as four individuals
scored goals for Saint Rose.
The Warriors return to Warrior Field on Tuesday, September 22 to
take on the Skyhawks of Stonehill at 7:00pm.
