MANCHESTER, NH - Taking to the road against #6 Southern New Hampshire (9-1-1, 6-0-1 NE-10), the Merrimack men's soccer Warriors (4-4-1, 2-2-0 NE-10) fell behind 3-0 to the Penmen before scoring their first goal in the 70th minute to reach a final of 3-1.

Freshman Olof Lindhe (Stockholm, Sweden) scored the Warriors lone goal from fellow classmate and countryman, Nelson Santos De Graca (Gothenburg, Sweden), in a night Merrimack was out-shot 14-11.

Junior Kevin Joyce (Mansfield, MA) made the start for Merrimack in net and tallied four saves on the evening.

Said Head Coach Tony Martone of the #6 Penmen, "they are certainly one of the top teams in our conference for a reason.  Our guys played tough, but again it came down to us making some costly errors that turned into goals for them."

The Warriors return to Warrior Field on Saturday, October 3 at 7:00pm to take on the Yellow Jackets of American International College.
