Men's Tennis Rolls to 9-0 Win at Saint Anselm

MANCHESTER, NH- Resuming to Conference play on Saturday at Saint Anselm, the Merrimack men's tennis team rolled past the Hawks, 9-0 in straight sets to improve to 3-0 in the Northeast-10 and 4-3 overall.

Freshman Petar Golijanin (Novi Sad, Serbia) teamed with sophomore Sean Pahler (Rumson, NJ) to win No. 1 singles, 8-3 before winning at No. 3 Singles, 6-0, 6-2.  Pahler also won at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0 at Saint Anselm College's outdoor courts Saturday.

The Warriors return to action on Sunday when they host American International College in Conference play at North Andover High School at 12:00pm.  For the Yellow Jackets, it will be the first match of their 2009-10 season.
