NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Merrimack women's lacrosse team, ranked tenth in this week's IWLCA National Poll, made it four straight wins, defeating Assumption College 20-5 Saturday afternoon at a windy Warrior Field.

In the victory, senior Mia Basile (Longmeadow, MA) moved into second-place on all-time Merrimack's goal-scoring list with two goals in the victory. She now has 154 goals all-time and 24 this season, tops on the team.

"I thought our girls played an incredible team effort," said head coach Corinne Baker. "Everyone contributed and we cleaned up some of the things we worked on at practice. This will help us as move on to our next game at Saint Michael's."

Three Warriors, McCarron, Kelly Pasquantonio (Plainville, MA), and Maddie Basile (Longmeadow, MA) led the way with three goals each in the win, while Mia Basile posted four assists and six points.
