Women's Tennis Falls to Bentley 6-3; Showdown Sunday for Playoff Berth

WALTHAM, MA – Searching for a Northeast-10 Tournament berth, the Merrimack women's tennis team lost to Bentley 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.

Merrimack's victories all came from Cristina Lucin and Caitlin Dunn, who each won their singles' matches and teamed for an 8-6 doubles victory.

The Warriors battle Assumption on Sunday in Worcester in their final regular season match, and the winner will advance to the Northeast-10 Tournament as the eighth and final seed, while the loser will see their season end. Both teams are 5-7 in the conference this season.
