NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Cruising through the Northeast-10 Quarterfinals, the second-seeded men's tennis team took down No. 7 Saint Anselm Tuesday afternoon, 5-0.

The Warriors advance to the semifinals where they will host the third-seeded Skyhawks of Stonehill College at North Andover High School.

Earlier in the season, Merrimack won a 5-4 decision at Stonehill that began outdoors before the teams were forced inside due to rain.  The Skyhawks took down No. 6 Pace on Wednesday, 5-0, in the Conference quarterfinals.

Making quick work in doubles play, sophomore Rishi Rajpal (New Delhi, India) and junior Liam Hoare (West Newbury, MA) won their No. 2 match allowing the fewest points (one) of the three Merrimack duos.

Sophomore Sean Pahler (Rumson, NJ) and junior Tim McHugh (Edgartown, MA) clinched the quarterfinal win shutout wins at No. 4 and No. 6 singles respectively, after each helping their doubles team to a No. 1 and No. 3 win earlier.
