Women's Tennis Eliminated by Top-Seeded SNHU in NE-10 Quarterfinals
MANCHESTER, NH – The Merrimack College women's
tennis team's 2009-10 season came to an end on Wednesday at
top-seeded Southern New Hampshire when the Warriors fell, 5-0, at
the SNHU Courts.
“Southern New Hampshire is clearly an incredibly talented
team, but we have no reason to hang our heads,” said head
coach Chris Stevens. “I'm very
proud of the way our team played throughout the year and am very
happy with the work they put in. The guidance of our seniors
has benefitted the underclassmen immensely and will only help us in
the future.”
Merrimack finished the season 6-13, while Southern New Hampshire
advances to the semifinals against fourth-seeded Saint
Michael's College.
