Women's Tennis Drops Season-Opener to Southern New Hampshire
MANCHESTER, N.H.- The Merrimack women's tennis
team suffered a 9-0 loss to Southern New Hampshire, Saturday
afternoon. The Warriors move to 0-1 on the year and in the
Northeast-10. The Penmen improve to 1-0 overall and in the
conference.
Southern New Hampshire swept all three doubles matches to claim
a 3-0 lead heading into singles play. The Penmen needed just two
singles wins to clinch the win, yet they swept all six matches.
Merrimack returns to action October 3 as it hits the road to
take on New Haven in a Northeast-10 Conference match.
