They now sit in a tie for sixth place in Hockey East but could jump as high as fourth if they take advantage of the games in hand they hold over all conference rivals. Mike Collins leads the Warriors with 19 points and leads Hockey East in points per game in league games (1.56/gm).
Recapping the Catamount Cup
Merrimack overcame a 2-0 deficit to tie Princeton 2-2 behind goals from Justin Mansfield and Shawn Bates. The Warriors outshot Princeton 36-20 but were 0-for-7 on the power play. Back in Burlington; First Time Ever on CBS

Merrimack had been 48-1-3 dating back to 2009 when leading after two periods before losing to Union after they were leading 1-0 entering the third period.
Collins Anchors Offensive Attack
Leading Merrimack in goals, assists, points and shots, Mike Collins is tied for 3rd in Hockey East with 9 goals and 4th with 19 points. He has points in eight straight conference games. The junior leads HEA in points per game (1.56) in conference games.
