NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Eyeing a regular-season sweep and third consecutive victory, the ninth-ranked Merrimack College field hockey teams travels north to Manchester, N.H., to battle Saint Anselm College in a Norhteast-10 Conference road clash Tuesday night. First whistle is set for 7 p.m.

Senior forward Candace Waldie registered a season-high seven-point performance on three goals and an assist to lead the ninth-ranked Merrimack College field hockey team to a 4-1 Northeast-10 Conference victory against Southern Connecticut State on Friday night at Martone-Mejail Field.
Closing out a season-long two-game homestand, Merrimack exploded out of the gate with two goals in the first 13 minutes of the game to account for all of the scoring in the first half before striking again for back-to-back goals less than two minutes apart early in the second, helping the Warriors build a four-goal lead before Southern Connecticut tallied its only strike in the 64th minute.

Sophomore forward Katrina Squeri tied a career high with two goals, and the then-fifth-ranked Merrimack College field hockey team ripped off five unanswered goals after giving up the game's first en route to a 5-1 victory against Saint Anselm College on Sept. 10, 2012, at Martone-Mejail Field.
After giving up the game's first goal just 2:24 in to regulation, the Warriors responded with their most impressive offensive display of the season, scoring the last two goals of the first half before building their lead to 5-1 with a five-minute, three-goal span early in the second half to put away the Hawks.
Meanwhile, junior Gina Rosinski used a seven-save performance to pick up her first win of the year, while Shauna Whittemore turned in a 15-save effort for the Hawks but took the loss.
The Warriors:
- Have won two in a row and 6-of-7 and enter Tuesday night in third place in Northeast-10 standings
- Are coming off a 4-1 victory against Southern Connecticut State last Friday night and a 3-0 blanking of 3-0 Bentley last Wednesday
- Waldie's 32 points rank fourth in the league and 12 goals are tied for third
- Sophomore Madison Davis boasts fourth-best GAA (1.61) in conference
- Boast third-best scoring offense (3.6 GPG) and fifth-best scoring defense (1.95 GAA)
The Hawks:
- Have lost two straight after winning back-to-back on Oct. 1 and Oct. 5
- Overall, stand at 4-7 and 2-3 in league play; have lost last five of seven contests
- Are led by Elizabeth Sears' 11 goals and 24 points (5th in NE-10)
- Goalkeeper Shauna Whittemore boasts fourth-best SV% (.770) and fifth-most total saves (67)
