Women's Tennis Claims 8-1 Victory over Le Moyne
WARRIORS EARN FOURTH CONFERENCE WIN OF THE SEASON
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Merrimack College women's tennis team picked up its fourth conference victory of the season on Sunday, as defeating Le Moyne College by the score of 8-1.

How It Happened
Merrimack claimed all three doubles matches to lead 3-0 at the midway point. The Warriors' top pair Grace Messina (Caracas, Venezuela) and Shakee Messina (Caracas, Venezuela) prevailed, 8-3, against Kenny and Geary. Kara Hole (Portsmouth, R.I.) and Chealsey Giatrelis earned a 8-2 victory over Perry and Canale. Rachel Muller (North Andover, Mass.) and Alyx Barnes (Portsmouth, N.H.) captured an 8-3 win at the third slot.
Grace Messina earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 1 slot. Shakee and Chealsey also picked up victories on Sunday by the score of 6-0, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-0 respectively. In the no. 5 singles slot, Muller earned a 8-1 victory against Geary. Le Moyne took the No. 6 singles match, 9-7.
