Women's Crew Defeats Assumption at the End of Fall Head Race
WOMEN'S CREW HAS STRONG SHOWING AT END OF FALL HEAD RACE
WORCESTER, MASS. – The Merrimack College women's crew team raced its Novice 8, Women's Varsity 4, and Women's Second Varsity 4 boats on Saturday. Each boat defeated the Assumption opposition, with the Women's Novice 8 setting the pace with a time of 08:59.8.

How It Happened
Merrimack raced three different boats and each one finished ahead of Assumption College on Saturday. The Women's Novice 8 raced twice, with times of 8:59.8 and 9:49.5. The Women's Varsity 4 finished with a time of 9:22.2 and the Women's Second Varsity 4 finished with a time of 9:49.5.

Head Coach Dave LeFebvre: "The work our athletes have put in is showing on the water. I just wish we had more time! We now move indoors for the winter where we will focus on our physiology so we can be as strong and fit as possible for our spring racing campaign.
Up Next
The Warriors will be off until March when the Spring Break Training Camp opens up. The first day of camp will be Saturday, March 15th.
