BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Highlighted by a dominating day by freshman Denzel Livingston (Billerica, Mass.), the Merrimack men's track & field team returned to action at the Greyhound Invitational at Moravian College on Saturday afternoon in Bethlehem, Pa.

No team score was kept at the event, but several members of the program enjoyed stellar performances and saw personal records and school records fall in the process.

Livingston, though, was at the front of the pack, as the rookie sprinter and jumper won the long jump with a final distance of 6.75m, a personal and program record that qualified him for the New England Championships in mid-May in the process.

The Billerica, Mass., native nearly had a two-title afternoon, as Livingston finished in second overall in the 100m dash finals with a time of 10.84 seconds, a new school record.

Graduate student Ethan Weaver (Brooklyn, Conn.) notched a fifth-place finish in the 200m dash (22.77 seconds), while he and twin brother Ian Weaver (Brooklyn, Conn.) finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively, in the 400m, as both posted sub-50 times of 49.47 and 49.84 seconds, respectively, both of which topped their previous personal bests.

The Warriors return to action next Friday, April 26, at the Stonehill Invitational.
