Men's Soccer Tops Bentley University, 2-1
HENRIQUE ETGES LEADS WARRIOR'S TO VICTORY OVER BENTLEY ON WEDNESDAY

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Junior Henrique Etges (Venancio Aires, Brazil) scored his first goal of the season in the 78th minute, which proved to be the difference in the Merrimack College men's soccer team's, 2-1, win over Bentley University in a Northeast-10 conference game Wednesday night at Martone-Mejail Field.

How It Happened
Bentley started the scoring off when Jordan Bridge received a pass from Nick Hoffman in the 19th minute of play. Merrimack answered soon after when sophomore Augusto Silva (Hudson, Mass.) scored his third career goal, evening the score at one apiece. Sophomore Douglas Searl (Westford, Mass.) collected the assists on Silva's goal.
After intermission, Merrimack kept the momentum of the game on their side. After a foul committed by Bentley, Henrique scored the game winning goal off a free kick that passed by the Bentley's goalkeeper. Bentley had a couple chances to tie the game but was unsuccessful against the Warrior's strong defense.
