NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's tennis team defeated the Le Moyne College Dolphins, 5-4, to end the regular season on a positive note.

How It Happened
The Warriors did just enough to defeat the Dolphins in its regular season finale. The Warriors clinched the match at No. 3 singles.

The doubles portion of the contest set the tone for Merrimack. Grace Messina (Caracas, Venezuela) and Chealsey Giatrelis (Centerville, Mass.) won No. 1 doubles, 8-3. Then freshmen Danielle Dunn (Middleton, Mass.) and Mackenzie Blair (Thomaston, Conn.) topped their opponents by the same score at No. 2 doubles.

Messina, Giatrelis and Dunn all won to start singles play, clinching the victory for the Navy and Gold.
