How It Happened

Merrimack jumped on top early with a run in the bottom of the first. With one out and runners on second and third, sophomore Sean O'Neill (Norwood, Mass.) poked an RBI single to left field to score freshman Cam DiSarcina (Shirley, Mass.) to give Merrimack the early lead.
