#22 Women's Soccer Plays at Franklin Pierce Tuesday

RINDGE, N.H. – The No. 22 Merrimack College women's soccer team will look to remain undefeated and pick up its fifth win of the season when they play at Franklin Pierce on Tuesday night.

Last Time Out:
The Warriors were able to top the Le Moyne Dolphins on Saturday in Syracuse by a score of 2-1. Senior Jenna Savi (Dedham, Mass.) scored her second game-winning goal of the season and added an assist to help the Warriors improve to 4-0-2.
Sophomore Victoria Carter (Smithfield, R.I.) would net the Warriors' first goal off a great corner kick from Savi, lofting a header out of the keeper's reach to score her Northeast-10 Conference leading fourth goal of the season.
Last Season vs. Franklin Pierce:
In their lone meeting last year, the Warriors would finish in a 2-2 tie with 2014 Northeast-10 Conference Semifinalist Ravens in their fourth game of the season at Martone-Mejail Field. Savi would score both goals in the game for Merrimack, including a score on an awarded penalty kick in the second half.
The Warriors:
- Merrimack is undefeated through six games for the first time since 2011, a year in which they won their first 10 games.
- Savi currently holds sole possession of the NE-10 lead in points with 10, coming off three goals and four assists to start her season
- Through six games, the Warriors are averaging a hefty 18.3 shots per game.
The Ravens:
- Franklin Pierce is 3-1 to start their season, winning their first three games of the year all via a shutout. Their loss came this past Wednesday at Stonehill, just a day before Merrimack would top the ninth-ranked team.
- Freshman forward Nathalia Da Silva is having a breakout start to her rookie campaign, leading her team in goals (3), assists (2) and points (8).

The Warriors return to Martone-Mejail Field on Thursday for a non-conference matchup with NYIT at 4:30 p.m.
