How It Happened
- The Bears jumped out to a 10-3 advantage less than three minutes into the opening half thanks to a pair of three-pointers and making four of their first five shots
- Senior Riley Calzonetti (Neptune City, N.J.) came off the bench and hit a jumper to pull the Warriors within two, 15-13. Graduate forward Anthony Barry (Uxbridge, Mass.) hit a layup to keep the margin at two, 19-17, with 13:43 left in the first 20 minutes
- After not scoring for 3:59 and leading by five, the Bears tallied five unanswered points to create their largest lead of the half at that point, 33-23, with 4:26 remaining. Freshman Devon Moore (Hanover, Pa.) sunk the first three-pointer of his career to stop the run
- The Bears' advantage grew to as many as 15, 43-28, but a layup from junior Kyle Howes (Maynard, Mass.) and a dunk from sophomore center Jordan Thornton (Dumfries, Va.) brought deficit to 11 points at halftime

- Boulter made it a career high with a triple at 11:47 mark, giving him 21 points for the night and Merrimack called a timeout with the deficit down to 16. Boulter hit two more shots including another three to make it a 68-54 game at the midway point of the second half
- Merrimack continued to chip away at the deficit, bringing the deficit down to ten following a layup from Howes with five minutes to play.
- The Warriors pulled within eight points following consecutive field goals from sophomore Troy McLaughlin (Old Tappan, N.J.), but the Bears held on over the final two minutes to triumph over the Warriors
