Sophomore Frank Vega (Lima, Peru) and junior Tayyab Sheikh (Longmeadow, Mass.) teamed up for the first time this season, also winning at No. 3 by an 8-0 score.
At first doubles, sophomore Mikhail Belov (Krasnoarmeyskoy, Russia) and redshirt-freshman Laurence Akwei (Johannesburg, South Africa) battled into a tiebreak, and prevailed by a 9-8 score.
The Warriors controlled the contest in singles play as well. Belov won a three-set match at first singles, losing the first set before battling back to take the final two.
