NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College baseball team saw five players earn Northeast -10 All-Conference recognition on Tuesday afternoon, led by senior Bobby Losanno (Peabody, Mass.), who was the squad's representative on the all-league first team.
Juniors Cam DiSarcina (Shirley, Mass.) and Perry Kulaga (Lincroft, N.J.) earned nods on the second team, while classmate Tyler Lyne (Agawam, Mass.) landed on the third team during his breakout season. Freshman Matthew Ronai (Orange, Conn.) rounded things out with a spot on the all-rookie team.
"We are very proud of that the coaches from around the Northeast-10 have recognized these five student-athletes," head coach Nick Barese stated. "Individual accomplishments are the result of team success, and these rewards reflect how strong our team is as a whole."
Losanno ended the regular season as Merrimack's leading hitter at .351, ranking eighth in the entire conference. His average marked a new career high for the fourth-year centerfielder, who also set personal bests in home runs (2), RBI (30), hits (60) and extra-base hits (13).
