How It Happened
- 1' – Twenty seconds into the night, sophomore Lars Sund (Stavanger, Norway) struck a shot into the bottom-left corner of the net to put the Warriors in front. Junior Juan Meza (Cali, Colombia) delivered a through ball then sent Sund in alone on the keeper
- 18' – Senior Jaime Cortes Torres (Seville, Spain) headed an attempt of a corner from Mattia Lanzi (Viterbo, Italy), but was stopped by keeper Stefano Lorusso
- 21' – Senior Oscar Zepeda Cagide (Jalisco, Mexico) struck a shot that looked destined for the upper-90, but Lorusso came up with a lunging stop
- 26' – Cortes Torres appeared to make it two-nil, but he was whistled for offsides prior to scoring
- 38' – Freshman Sebastian Toro (East Boston, Mass.) dished his second assist in as many games, connecting with senior Alexander Alleyne (Swampscott, Mass.) for the latter's second goal at home this season
- 57' – Alleyne had two cracks at his second goal of the night, but his breakway was saved by Lorusso. The rebound caromed back to the Swampscott native, but Alleyne chipped it off the Chargers keeper and away from danger
- 81' – New Haven cut the deficit in half, scoring a goal off a free kick with less than ten minutes remaining
