How It Happened
- 10' – The Warriors got out to an early lead just 10 minutes into the game thanks to the first goal of the season from junior Mia Reed (Essex Junction, Vt.). Reed would receive a nice pass from junior Victoria Carter (Smithfield, R.I.) at the top of the box and fire it out of the keeper's reach to make it 1-0.
- 29' – The Warriors would stretch the lead to two on the first goal as a Warrior from Gustafson. The sophomore transfer would receive a throw in about 25 yards from the net on the left side and fire off a rocket that sailed past the keeper and into the far side of the net to make it 2-0.
- 32' – Just over three minutes later, Le Moyne would get on the board with 14 minutes to play in the opening half, cutting the lead to 2-1 after a nice pass across the box found an open Dolphin player who was able to put the ball in the back of the net to make it 2-1 heading into the half.
- 58' – After a great individual effort in front of the net from sophomore Gigi Guenther (Webster, Mass.), the Warriors would be awarded a penalty kick early in the second frame. Guenther would take the penalty kick for the first time in her career and convert with a quick shot that fooled the keeper for the 3-1 lead.
- 89' – After a late goal from Le Moyne cut the lead to just one goal, senior Bianca Giacalone (Gloucester, Mass.) would answer and put the Warriors back up by two and secure the win. Freshman Rachel Healy (Sutton, Mass.) would pick up her first-career point with an assist on the goal.
