NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss, to No. 18 Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday night from Martone-Mejail Field in overtime.

How It Happened
- Merrimack out shot the Penmen 7-3 in the first half, including three shots on net. However, it was scoreless after the first 45 minutes of
- 60' – Senior Andrea Rego (Dartmouth, Mass.) gave the Warriors a 1-0 lead. She took a corner kick and the ball bent into the near corner and through the hands of the keeper.
- 72' – Allyson Patterson knotted the game at one, when she received a cross from left side and put it past the keeper.
- 80' – Merrimack was awarded a penalty kick. However, Southern New Hampshire keeper Paige Salmon made a kick save to send the ball away from danger.
- 95' – Trish Luis scored the game-winner on a set piece. Ariana Silvia sent a free kick to the far post. Abigail Maker headed the ball towards Luis, who found the back of the net.
