NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – In a tri-match hosted by Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., the Warriors will play a pair of matches on Saturday afternoon beginning with the host Hawks at 11 a.m. in Northeast-10 Conference play followed by Queens at approximately 1 p.m. in the Warriors' non-conference finale.
Last Time Out:
- The Warriors suffered a 3-0 defeat on Tuesday at Bentley (25-10, 25-13, 25-18)
- Junior Sofia Basauri (Beaverton, Ore.) led the Warriors with eight kills. Tuesday marked the fourth match this season that Basauri finished with at least eight kills, and her .227 hitting percentage marked the highest of those four matches
- Junior libero Amanda Cain (Melrose, Mass.) paced the Navy and Gold with 10 digs. She has reached double figures in four straight matches, leading Merrimack with 57 during that span
Inside the Series:
- Saturday will be the second meeting between Saint Anselm and Merrimack this season, with the Hawks winning a non-conference contest in three sets back in September
- Tomorrow will be the eighth meeting between the Warriors and Knights, and the first since the 2010-11 campaign
