Last Time Out:
  • The Warriors played their third nationally-ranked opponents this past weekend in Providence during Hockey East action on Friday and Saturday, falling 4-1 in the first contest, and 5-0 on the road.
  • In Friday's game from Lawler Rink after trailing 2-0 midway into the second, it was freshman Megan Fergusson (Kitchener, Ontario) who cut the lead in half at 11:58 of the period. She broke down the middle of the ice, receiving a long feed from junior Felila Manu (Anchorage, Alaska) from the defensive zone, before slipping the puck through the pads of Friars' goalie Clare Minnerath. However, a pair of empty net goals by Providence sealed the deal for the visiting team. Sophomore goalie Léa-Kristine Demers (Repentigny, Quebec) finished the game with 32 saves, including 16 in the second period.
  •  Manu has already eclipsed her season-high in assists with five on the year. Junior captain Paige Voight (St. Michael, Minn.) also has five helpers on the year, along with a goal. Junior Katelyn Rae (Courtice, Ontario) leads the team with eight points on five goals and three assists.
The Tigers:
  • Princeton enters the weekend at 2-5-3 overall, having played three common opponents of the Warriors in St. Lawrence, Union, and Providence. All three of the ties have come against the Friars and Saints, while the Tigers defeated the Dutchwoman, 3-0 at home on Nov. 11th.
  • Carly Bullock leads the team with eight goals, while Karlie Lund has a team-high 11 points on four goals and seven assists. Stephanie Sucharda leads the team with eight assists.
  • Steph Neatby has played nine games this season in net, posting a 2.48 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.
  • The Tigers average 2.3 goals per game and allow the same, while averaging 32 shots per game. They have outscored the opposition 10-7 in the second period, but have allowed eight goals in the third.
