RINDGE, N.H. – Four players recorded hat tricks while nine different Warriors scored at least once, lifting the sixth-ranked Merrimack College men's lacrosse team to a 20-8 victory over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday afternoon at Sodexo Field. The win is the third straight for the Warriors, tying their longest win streak of the season in the process.

- After racing out to a 3-0 lead, Merrimack watched as Franklin Pierce netted the next two tallies to make it a one-goal affair (3-2). However, the Warriors would go on to outscore the Ravens by a 7-0 margin over the remainder of the half – with eight of the team's 10 first-half markers coming in the opening frame – to build a 10-2 lead at the midpoint.
- The Warriors added five more to their lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Ravens by a 5-3 margin in that stanza, before netting five more in the fourth ledger to close out the contest with their third straight victory.
Highlights and Notables
- Senior Tim Towler (Topsfield, Mass.) and sophomore Seamus Ford (Walpole, Mass.) both led the way with four goals, while Ford set a new career-high with six points (4g, 2a). The two recorded their fourth hat tricks of the season each.
- Freshman Charlie Bertrand (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) and junior Bailey Walsh (Derry, N.H.) also recorded hat tricks; it was the eighth such performance of the year for the former, while the latter set a new career-high in scoring with his three-goal afternoon.
- Freshman Tyler Liantonio (Locust Valley, N.Y.) posted his first-ever multi-goal and multi-point game with a career-best three points (2g, 1a), while junior Kyle Stenberg (Annandale, N.J.) and freshman Dom Thomas (Wrentham, Mass.) had identical scoring lines (1g, 1a) and sophomore Michael O'Connell (Sudbury, Mass.) posted a pair of helpers to round out the list of Merrimack multi-point performances.
- Sophomore Jacob Howes (Trumbull, Conn.) and senior Bobby O'Brien (Duxbury, Mass.) also found the back of the net once as well for Merrimack, which tied its single-game scoring high with 20 goals for the second time this season (St. Michael's – March 28).
- All four goalkeepers on the roster saw time in Tuesday's win, with juniors Mitch Green (Manchester, N.H.) and James Biegel (Gorham, Maine) making their first appearances of the year.
