WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore attack Amber Feminella (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) tied her career single-game scoring output with five goals, but the Merrimack College women's lacrosse team fell short in its season finale at Assumption on Saturday, as the Greyhounds came away with a 14-8 victory over the Warriors in Northeast-10 Conference action.

- Assumption outscored the visitors by a 4-1 margin through the game's first 10 minutes before Feminella netted her first of the day at the 19:20 mark to cut the Warriors' deficit in half. The Greyhounds would then outscore Merrimack by one (4-3) over the remainder of the half and took a three-goal lead (8-5) into the break.
- Feminella hit the hat trick mark just past the two-minute mark of the second half to get Merrimack within two (8-6), but Assumption countered with the next two goals to match their largest lead of the afternoon at 10-6.
- After both sides exchanged goals, Feminella registered her fifth marker of the game with just over 10 minutes to play to make it a three-goal game again, but the Greyhounds had the final three goals of the afternoon to close out the match.

- Feminella's five-goal output was her highest in a single game this season and also her fifth hat trick; the sophomore had recorded five goals in a game on four previous occasions, all during her freshman season. She also recorded a career-high three free position goals.
- Junior Carly McKenna (Saco, Maine) recorded a multi-goal game for the first time this season, finding the back of the net twice to account for Merrimack's lone other multi-goal scorer.
- Freshman Ally DaCosta (New Bedford, Mass.) had Merrimack's remaining goal to conclude her rookie campaign with 22 points (13g, 9a).
- Freshman defender Gretchen Krall (Hanover, Mass.) led all Warriors with a career-high four ground balls and caused a career-high and team-leading two turnovers, as well.
