GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The Merrimack College women's lacrosse team fell to the No. 1 team in the country, Adelphi University, on Saturday in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup at Motamed Field.

- Merrimack limited the fourth-ranked offense in the nation to just three goals midway through the opening half, but Adelphi struck for three more in a two-minute span and then added another trio of tallies to take a 9-0 lead into the break.
