Softball To Play AT HOME Sunday

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College softball team will finally play in its home opener on Sunday afternoon from the Warrior Softball Field as an official decision was made Sunday morning that the on-campus facility is ready for competition.
The Warriors will host the University of New Haven in a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader set for 12 p.m. The contests were tentatively scheduled to be played at Lynnfield High School, but were moved back to campus because of Merrimack's field availability.
Merrimack will now play three straight games at home including a single contest against Bentley University on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in divisional play.
