Baseball's Game Tuesday vs. Assumption Cancelled

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Due to unplayable field conditions at the Warrior Baseball Diamond, the Merrimack College baseball team has cancelled its non-conference game scheduled for Tuesday afternoon against Assumption College.
The non-divisional contest will not be made up, with the Warriors and Greyhounds already completing their Northeast Division series earlier this season. Merrimack swept Assumption, capping off the three-game set with a 16-1 win last Friday afternoon.
The Warriors will now shift their focus to No. 5 Southern New Hampshire, with a three-game series looming against the division-leading Penmen. Depending on Tuesday night's result between SNHU and Franklin Pierce, Merrimack will either have to sweep the Penmen or win two of three to win the division.
