NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's soccer team hosts American International College on Saturday night from Martone-Mejail Field for a Northeast-10 Conference tilt at 6 p.m.
Last Time Out:
- Merrimack continued its winning streak, with a 2-0 shutout over Bentley on Wednesday night.
- Sophomore Andrea Frassine (Brescia, Italy) scored twice for his first two goals of his Merrimack career.
- His first goal came late in the first half. After two shots that were deflected away, Frassine was there to clean up the rebound and give the Warriors a 1-0 lead.
- His second tally came in the 83rd minute, following a corner kick taken by senior Mattia Lanzi (Viterbo, Italy). Frassine was at the near post and leaped over everyone to head the ball into the net.
Last Season/Inside the series vs. AIC
- The Warriors have won six straight against the Yellow Jackets, including a win in the NE10 Quarterfinals last season.
- During the regular season Merrimack won 2-1, including a goal by senior Juan Meza (Cali, Columbia) on Sept. 13. During the NE10 Quarterfinals, Merrimack won 2-0.
The Yellow Jackets:
- AIC enters the game with a 2-4 record overall and 1-2 in the NE10.
- They defeated the College of Saint Rose on Tuesday night, 3-1, for the first conference victory of the year.
- Jake Durham leads the team with three goals on the year.

Merrimack will travel to Easton, Massachusetts on Tuesday, Sept. 26 for a NE10 clash with the Skyhawks of Stonehill College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
